Here, term ‘green’ is indicative of purity. Green means pure in quality and fair or just in dealing. For example, green advertising means advertising without adverse impact on society. Green message means matured and neutral facts, free from exaggeration or ambiguity. Green marketing is highly debated topic for lay people to highly professional groups.
Concept of green marketing concerns with protection of ecological environment.
Basically, green marketing concerns with three aspects:
- Promotion of production and consummation of pure/quality products,
- Fair and just dealing with customers and society
- Protection of ecological environment.

Green banking is like a normal bank, which considers all the social and environmental/ecological factors with an aim to protect the environment and conserve natural resources.It is also called as an ethical bank or a sustainable bank.
Benefits of Green Banking
- Basically Ethical (Green) banking avoids as much paper work as possible. Less paperwork means less cutting of trees.
- Creating awareness to business people about environmental and social responsibility enabling them to do a environmental friendly business practice.
- When you are awarded with a loan, the interest of that loan is comparatively less with normal banks because ethical banks give more importance to environmental friendly factors .
Relationship marketing
Relationship marketing involves developing long term relationship with customers so that they provide you with ongoing business.
An organisation must exceed customer satisfaction expectations to retain and develop long term relationships with customers.
Relationship marketing involves the organisation implementing strategy to attract and retain customers over the long term.
Bancassurance
Bancassurance is a French term referring to the selling of insurance through a bank's established distribution channels.
- In other words, we can say Bancassurance is the provision of insurance (assurance) products by a bank.
- Bancassurance is the selling of insurance and banking products through the same channel, most commonly through bank branches. Selling insurance means distribution of insurance and other financial products through Banks.
